SonoWand Invite™ consists of a high-performance ultrasound scanner combined with a powerful navigation computer and optical tracking system. The system supports a number of trackable instruments and accessories such as navigators, ultrasound probes and General Purpose Localizers. Patient image display techniques for planning and navigation include the conventional ACS (axial, coronal, sagittal) views. Additionally, other more intuitive and powerful display techniques are included.
SonoWand Invite™ has a more compact design than conventional two-rack system solutions and saves vital space in the operating room.
SonoWand Invite™ may also be used as a conventional neuronavigation system using DICOM MRI or CT images, or as a stand-alone ultrasound unit.
