Symptoms

Brain tumors produce a variety of symptoms, depending on the type, size and location in the brain. Symptoms may occur if the tumor directly damages the nerves in the brain or central nervous system or if its growth imposes pressure on the brain.

The most common signs of a brain tumor are headache, nausea, seizures, loss of movement/sensation in an an arm or leg, or mental changes (e.g. memory loss, impaired concentration, problems with speech and reasoning).
